Overnight Oats
I love this style of “oatmeal.” It’s yummy, nutritious and easy to take with you. Plus, there is no prep work in the morning. You can add fruit and nut butters as well as a variety of nuts and seeds.
1. In a small mason jar, add 1/3 cup plain yogurt, 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup unsweetened milk of choice, 1 tsp chia seeds, and 1 T local honey maple syrup. Stir with a spoon to combine.
2. Cover securely with a lid or plastic wrap and set in the refrigerator overnight (or for at least 6 hours).
