Apple Cider Vinegar Popcorn

Check out this recipe for apple cider vinegar and salted popcorn! I am excited to make it for the holiday weekend coming up as a light and healthy snack.

Ingredients needed:

  • Popcorn kernels (1/4 cup)

  • Coconut oil, extra-virgin avocado oil or walnut oil (1.5 tablespoon)

  • Apple Cider Vinegar (1 tablespoon)

  • Sea salt and pepper (to taste)

How to:

  1. Start with a large pot with the lid on and heat the coconut oil and a few popcorn kernels over med-high heat.

  2. Once the popcorn kernels begin to pop, you may add the rest of the kernels. Place the lid on and leave a little bit of an opening so the steam won’t get trapped inside the pot.

  3. Make sure to move the pot continuously so the popcorn doesn’t burn

  4. Pour the popcorn into a large bowl and add a little more of the oil of your choice, add salt and pepper to taste and then spray or drizzle apple cider vinegar and toss to combine it all.
