Salmon Burgers Full of Vitamin D

Hint of Chocolate Black Bean Soup

1 cup chopped onions

1 cup chopped leeks

3-4 cloves chopped garlic

olive oil

 

½ tsp coriander

2 tsps cumin

2 tsps smoked paprika

2 tsps molasses

1 cup chicken stock (without msg)

 

3 T Ketchup

2 T Worcestshire sauce

1 can organic tomato sauce

2 cans black beans

1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate

s/p to taste

red pepper flakes (optional)

 

1.      Saute the first three in olive oil, 5-7 minutes.

2.     Add spices, then chicken stock to prevent drying.

3.     Add the last set of ingredients, and taste before adding more salt and pepper.

4.     Enjoy!

 

You can try making this in a Crock Pot – should be easy
